How does lower fuel consumption sound? How about improved performance and reduced CO2 emissions? That’s exactly what the Ford Fiesta 1.0 EcoBoost range offers you. Ford recently announced an extension to its range carrying the winning engine of the International Engine of the Year for the past three years (2012 to 2014).
The entire Fiesta 1.0 EcoBoost range is made up of eleven derivatives, including the Ambiente, Trend and Titanium versions. Drivers therefore have ultimate flexibility when choosing a model to suit their needs and preferences.
The PowerShift transmission combines the optimised gear ratios of manual gearboxes with the efficiency, smoothness and ease-of-use of a conventional automatic vehicle. Drivers can therefore choose between five-speed manual models or six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission models.
Ford has also gone to great lengths to change the appearance of the Fiesta 1.0 EcoBoost models, making for a more attractive vehicle.
The PowerShift derivatives feature torque of 170Nm with a power rating of 74kW, remaining unchanged from previous models. Average fuel consumption 4.9 l/100km* with CO2 emissions of 114 g/km. Reflecting the 1.0 EcoBoost’s reputation for reduced emissions.
The five-speed manual derivatives deliver 92kW of power and 170Nm of power. It also features combined cycle fuel consumption which is rated at 4.3l/100km* with a CO2 emissions rating of 99 g/km*.
To offer drivers optimum peace of mind, all 1.0 EcoBoost models come with a four-year/120 000km comprehensive warranty, four-year/60 000km service plan, three-year/unlimited km roadside assistance and five-year/unlimited km corrosion warranty.
To keep your vehicle in peak driving condition, service intervals are every 20 000km on the EcoBoost petrol engines and 15 000km for the TDCi derivatives.
We’re excited for this extension in the reliable Fiesta range and look forward to helping you drive off in a 1.0 EcoBoost of your own. To book a test drive, make sure to talk to Eagle Ford today! Contact us on 011 531 3000 or visit us on www.eagleford.co.za
