The new Ford Everest redefined and refined!

Get ready for a brand new SUV ready to take your breath away! The seven-seater Ford Everest is set to hit SA shores in 2015.

The Ford Everest is tough and reliable enough to tackle any off-road challenge, yet still overs exceptional ride comfort and quality. Whether you’re an adrenaline junkie or city slicker the Everest is the perfect mix of ruggedness and luxury! This cleverly designed SUV has en excellent four-wheel drive system, an active transfer case with Torque on Demand, Terrain Management System, which can be set for Normal, Snow/ Gravel/ Grass, Sand and Rock! The Everest also has an amazing ground clearance of 225mm with water wading capability of 800mm. Despite all this technology the Everest maintains Ford’s fun-to-drive characteristics!

Technology in the Everest is world–class making it one of the most technologically advanced SUVs on the market. This SUV will include SYNC 2 a voice controlled system that controls entertainment, climate controls and connected mobile devices! SYNC 2 can also be used on the magnificent 8-inch touchscreen with colour-coded corners for easy menu navigation.

The new Ford Everest also offers a number of world-class technologies, including Curve Control, which is designed to help drivers maintain control when approaching turns too quickly; Lane Departure Warning and Lane Keeping Aid, two technologies that help prevent drivers from drifting out of a lane; and Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) with Cross Traffic Alert, which informs drivers when there is a vehicle in their blind spot while driving or when preparing to reverse out of parking spots.

Other technological features in the Everest include Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Alert with Collision Mitigation, Roll Stability Control and an Electronic Stability Program all helping you, the driver stay in perfect control. Active Park Assist in the Everest also enables drivers to parallel park hands-free! Driving made easy!

The Everest will come with a choice of Petrol or Diesel engines. This line up includes a new 2.0-liter four-cylinder twin-scroll EcoBoost petrol engine, a 3.2-liter Duratorq five-cylinder TDCi diesel engine and a 2.2-liter Duratorq four-cylinder TDCi diesel. Whatever your engine needs or preference you can count on Ford to deliver the perfect combination of performance and efficiency.

While the exterior design is bold and striking the interior is equally as impressive with its modern finishes.
