Coming 50 years after the legendary victory at the 1966 Le Mans, The Ford Motor Company once again tackled what has been dubbed the toughest competition in the world.
In an historic moment, the number 68 Ford GT crossed the Le Mans finish line on 19th June as the 2016 Le Mans 24 Hours’ overall GT winner. The number 69 Ford GT followed as the second Ford in and joined the podium in third place. Finishing in fourth and ninth place respectively were the number 66 and number 67 Ford GTs.
